The SMB Academic Year Mentoring Program piloted in 2019 and is open to all members, regardless of career stage. The purpose of the program is to encourage academic success on a variety of fronts. Since 2019 we have matched 123 mentors and mentees in 52 groups, with the following countries represented: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, US, Zambia.
