Postdoctoral Position in HIV Modeling

A regular postdoctoral research position in HIV MODELING is available in the Theoretical Biology and Biophysics Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Work will involve working with Alan Perelson and collaborating with experimentalists in the development of models relevant to cutting edge HIV research. Familiarity with differential equations, computer simulations, and statistics is desirable. Knowledge of immunology and virology would also be helpful.

Position is for two years (assuming satisfactory performance during the first year), but an extension to a third year is possible. The salary depends on years of experience since Ph.D. and typically will range between $48k and $53k. To qualify as a postdoc a Ph.D. must be obtained before the start of the position, and only candidates within three years of completion of their Ph.D. are eligible.
