Current Board Members of the Japanese
Association for Mathematical Biology
Communicated by: Toshiyuki Namba
Secretary General the Japanese Association for Mathematical Biology
In cooperation, the Society for Mathematical Biology and the Japanese
Association for Mathematical Biology have established the Okubo Prize,
in memory of Akira Okubo, the late professor of the State University of
New York, who passed away in February, 1996. (See detailed announcement
in this issue.) The JAMB elected Dr. Yoh Iwasa, Dr. Masayasu Mimura,
and Dr. Nanako Shigesada as members of the Awards Committee.
I hope that this joint project will help to promote the close
relationship between the two societies. In order to facilitate the
contact and the collaboration between members of our two societies, I
provide the list of current board members and their e-mail addresses.
