The Centre for Mathematical Medicine & Biology at the University of Nottingham is offering a 9 month postdoc.

We are looking for a researcher, whose expertise lies in data analysis and mathematical modelling, to work with Professor John King on an exciting multidisciplinary and cross-institutional MRC-funded project on the effective nutritional targeting of age-related immune decline and intestinal microbial dysbiosis. Data from project partners will include that on the effects of vitamin D and probiotic organisms on immune function, inflammation and the intestinal microbiome in participants in a feasibility study, informing the development of data-driven mathematical models. Candidates should have a background in relevant mathematical/statistical approaches, but prior knowledge of the application area is not a prerequisite.

Application deadline Fri 23rd Sept, please see https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/jobs/currentvacancies/ref/SCI388022 for more detail and a link to the application form.
