We are looking for highly motivated students to join the Mathematical Biology group at the University of Birmingham. Currently available projects include modelling of mitochondria, mechanics and shape of cancer cells, molecular evolution and the dynamics of blood vessels. All projects will involve training in cutting-edge mathematical modelling techniques, and may be conducted in close collaboration with top experimental collaborators in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Melbourne, Yale, London.
