I am recruiting a research assistant to study population models in seasonal ecosystems with me in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Texas Tech University in Fall 2022. The goal is to use numerical simulations to assess how seasonal events change our expectations of population outcomes. This project is appropriate for anyone interested in a PhD in mathematics and ecological modelling.
This position is funded by NSF’s LEAPS-MPS program to broaden participation in mathematics, so students belonging to groups historically excluded from STEM are encouraged to apply.
