Applications are invited for role of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (two posts are available) in Mathematics based in the Department of Mathematics, City, University of London. The successful candidates will have a PhD in a relevant field of Mathematics or a related discipline, and a record of original research of world-leading or internationally excellent quality in at least one of the three research group areas: applied mathematics (including mathematical biology), mathematical physics or representation theory.
Applications from those with research having potential significant impact outside of academia, i.e., effect on, change or benefit to the economy, society, culture, public policy or services, health, the environment or quality of life, will be especially welcome.
The candidate will also be expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in education.
