    Dear colleague,

    We are pleased to announce the workshop “ Epidemic Modelling: Current Challenges” that will be held in Girona (Catalonia, Spain) from June 19 to June 21, 2023.

    The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers in the field of epidemics with different backgrounds (mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists, engineers, and biologists) to present current problems as well as potential avenues of future research in epidemc modelling. Possible topics covered in the workshop are, among others: capturing human behavior in epidemic modeling, outbreak analysis, non-Markovian epidemic dynamics, and epidemics on metapopulations.

    There will be room for poster presentations or short presentations (15min). If interested, please submit an abstract of 2-3 pages through our web site.

    Registration and abstract submission will start on 25 October 2022.
