We have an opening for a postdoctoral fellow (or AI residency) at Genentech.
This is a fantastic opportunity to apply machine learning and AI to help in clinical drug development. The idea is to infer deep-learning corrections to dynamical models using observational data, in a fully hybrid approach, to tackle the difficult problem of identifying anti-cancer combination therapies (more details in the application link). This residency should lead to both the development of new theoretical methods, as well as concrete outcomes in anti-cancer treatments.
We are looking for candidates either trained in AI and looking to develop further their skills in dynamical AI, or for candidates trained in dynamical systems, applied math or physics and interested in learning and developing methods in dynamical AI.
Feel free to apply if this position motivates you (even if you are not strictly matching all the requirements). You may also contact me directly for information at < lemaire dot vincent at gene dot com >. This position is for 2 to 4 years and is opened internationally.
