We are looking for 3 lecturers/senior lectores (the equivalent of Assistant/Associate Professors) at the University of Birmingham. The positions are open in any area of mathematics. We have a strong, diverse and fast growing mathematical biology group, and a large campus with the Medical School within 10 minutes walking distance to the School of Mathematics, enabling an ideal collaborative environment. We also host several interdisciplinary centres including the Centre for Systems Modelling and Quantitative Biomedicine, the Centre for Computational Biology and The Institute for Interdisciplinary Data Science and AI. We are also interested in growing our expertise in fields connecting our existing strength, for example in data science and statistics.
